Truzzt IDSA Connector

The International Data Space Association seeks to build a standard for data sovereignty. With the establishment of the International Data Spaces Association, business and research take an active part in designing a trustworthy architecture for the data economy. More than 101 companies and institutions of various industries and sizes from 20 countries including several Fortune 500 companies, global acting medium-sized companies, software and system houses are members of the association. The IDSA aims to guarantee data sovereignty by an open, vendor-independent architecture for a peer-to- peer network which provides usage control of data from all domains.

We joined IDSA in 2019 and are involved in the architecture work group and take part in on- and offline events. This membership is important to us because we believe in building ecosystems with rules to enforce data ownership and that will increase the transparency and the quality of data. Data sovereignty should be at the heart of every European Enterprise.

Digitalized Finance Sector

In today's increasingly digitalized world, the finance sector is particularly vulnerable to cyber threats due to the high stakes involved and the sensitive nature of financial data. To counter these evolving risks, a new approach called "cyber security mesh" has emerged as a promising solution. By embracing thin innovative framework, the finance sector can fortify its digital defenses and ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of financial systems and data.

Cyber Security Mesh is a distributed, flexible and scalable approach to cyber security, that moves away from the traditional perimeter-based model. Instead of relying solely on centralized defenses, the mesh model integrates security into every aspect of the digital ecosystem. It creates a dynamic network of security controls that can adapt and respond in real-time, regardless of the location or type of assets being protected.

Insurance Sector

Cyber security mesh has emerged as a vital concept within the insurance sector, revolutionizing the way organizations protect themselves against cyber threats. Traditionally, insurance companies have relied on perimeter-based security measures that focused on securing their internal networks. However, with the increasing intelligence of cyber attacks and the rise of remote work, this approach has become obsolete.

Cyber Security Mesh provides a more dynamic and flexible approach to cyber security. It emphasizes the need to protect individual assets and users rather than solely focusing network perimeters. By implementing a mesh architecture, insurance companies can establish a distributed security model that extends protection to all endpoints, including mobile devices, cloud services, and IoT devices.
